The Challenge

Wyoming Secret Cocktail Society is a fairly new notion in Casper, Wyoming. They provide high-caliber cocktails in a place that is not accustomed to this service. Customers can come in for a fantastic Aviation or see a rare Absinthe pour. The ambiance of the location is dive bar meets speakeasy. The mixologists wear suits, but you don’t have to. This definitely is a brand that is starting to take it’s wings and build itself. While the business itself is taking off, the partnership with C. Taylor is bringing it to the next level and next steps.

My Move

Chandler spent plenty of time discussing the next steps for Wyoming Secret Cocktail Society. Ultimate goals fell around eventual expansion and potentially making this their entire career. When talking to them about more a detail-oriented brand identity, the conclusion was a free-rein. Taking notes from their bar nights, I used a classical navy color as well as an obstructed gray. This adds the classy cocktails but relishes in the dive bar atmosphere. Adding the martini glass with a wrench fit perfectly since the location is in an old mechanic shop. I pushed this onto the menu creation, listing their chosen libations for the season. I hope to further promote this with a website down the road.

My next move was to take pictures and edit them to taste for the use on their social media pages. I wanted to promote a hip, artistic flair to the pictures and get out from the typical straight-forward cocktail content so many bars employ. These pictures turned out wonderful for them, and they consistently use them on their social media. These will also be a good utility to have for the future website.
